We have finally arrived back around to the time of year where I begin to pack away my shorts and bring to the front my pants and jeans for Fall and Winter! This year I bought a few new pairs to elevate my T shirts and Sweaters.

Burgundy Pants, Brown Sweater

Faux leather pants like these are all over the designer websites this year, but I am proud to say I found these for LESS than $30! They come in 3 perfect colors and are FULLY STOCKED right now. They are great quality and so comfortable and flattering- in fact, I may purchase the black as well.

Printed Satin Pant

One of the most luxurious and comfortable fabrics we can wear this season is satin! Imagine how elevated these crest your outfit paired with a solid cream top or cardigan. So easy but ready to step into a nice restaurant or event.

Suede Pants

I have to feature this great find as well because these are a $20 find! They also come in 4 colors, and are so comfortable. You can tell I’m all for comfort, in pants especially! These high waisted suede pants are the perfect neutral to pair with all of your fall tops.

Jaquard Floral Pant

A perfect pair of girly party pants! I would wear with an oxford top and flats or even heels with a blouse for a formal look. How fun would these be around the office with a neutral blazer!

The cooler mornings have begun, and require some versatility adjustments to our wardrobe for the new season. I have recently invested in some interchangeable fall basics to achieve maximum comfort and ease of execution.

Turtle neck, Maxi dress, suede flats

A prominent feature of Fall in our lifestyle is the beginning of the school year and the many errands it includes which makes it imperative that I have easy selections to throw on and run out the door like a T shirt dress and sneakers. I have also been enjoying the resurfacing trend of yoga pants and a tee or sweatshirt for the days when I stay home and get things done around the house.

Sweater Set

This two-piece lounge set is under $150 altogether. I love this shade of green for the fall which would look great dressed down with these Tretorn sneakers or dressed up with flats under a long coat.

Amazon Yoga Pants

A resurfaced trend from my early grade school years for $25 on Amazon! Which I am gladly partaking in for these cozy months and days where I am working in and around the house. I have also started wearing these to the gym sometimes! The bell bottom is so flattering, and it pairs perfectly with the viral and perfectly cut $12 tee from Walmart.

Drawstring Waist Sweatshirt

This is an elevated and complementary take on a sweatshirt. The drawstring waist carves in an hourglass shape to your lounge or athleisure look. I would also wear this with a dark skinny jean and sneaker.

Each season, there’s always a few new things I add to my wardrobe and end up wearing almost daily. A couple of them are pictured here- my pearl shoes happen to go with every outfit I have put together so far so naturally it’s hard to leave them behind, and this dress is my favorite throw on and go silhouette because it provides so much space and coverage which is the ultimate comfort for me. Jacket

A perfect extra layer to enjoy during the cooler mornings. Comes in several color ways including black, floral, and a dusty pink corduroy!

Floral Sweater

So beautiful to wear with jeans, or cream colored pants, and even suede or leather pants as shown in the picture. I love the soft elegance of pink that can carry over into our chilly spring months. A great investment.

Striped Top

A great basic for layering and warmer afternoons. I own this top and have to stop myself from repeating it several days in a row! Maybe I should get the black, too?

Plaid Ralph Lauren button down

Another great layering piece in a great daytime color way. A versatility top made to wear alone, over a tank, or tied around your wait or shoulders.

Levis under $100

A standard in any fall wardrobe is the black pant! The cropped fit on these is so flattering to accentuate your cute flats or sneakers, and the denim is soft enough to lounge at home in. I have two pairs of this style and they are inder $50!

Although we are well into September, the heat remains in our southern state forecast and with it presents the challenge of wearing fall fashion against the odds. I, however have developed a hack for this dilemma over years of contemplation, and have concluded that the best solution for our toasty fall weather is to simply change our color scheme and continue with our summer silhouettes in fall shades. Allow me to elaborate…

Juliet Dunn dress, Ralph Lauren Bag

If you have been paying attention, you will remember the popular bow shoulders from this summer. Set atop of a flowy sundress, this was an ideal look and still remains an adorable feature. I’ve only switched the color to black, and added a warm leather accessory to create a fall ensemble.

Cut out dress

Here is another perfect example of a fall trend (the flattering mid cut outs) and wearing a fall colored version with the dusty pink and rose florals. So ideal with a boot or leather flats.

Burgundy dress

I love this dark shade that perfectly embodies fall. It is also easily dressed up or down. Wear it alone to brave the hot weather, or throw of a cozy cardigan in the evening.

Blue gingham

An unexpected color done beautifully in a fall gingham. I think this could be adorable at the pumpkin patch with boots and a hat, or worn with a platform sneaker.

Striped tee dress

This dress is on sale for under $50! The caramel color is a great neutral under a black jacket and the white stripe begs to be paired with matching sneakers.

Is it me or is everything cooler when it’s collared? I definitely see how any crewneck or sweater is transformed by popping a collared button down underneath, but wait until you see how the button down transforms with a sweater casually draped over the shoulders! This timeless classic is the perfect way to wear layers for the changing seasons. Wear both in the morning, and shed a layer as the sun warms up the weather.

Sweater, button down, suede pants, bag

You’re going to die when you see how affordable these suede pants are by the way! I have seen so many beautiful luxury pairs, and was so excited to find these. They are under $50 and fit so well it’s crazy they are still in stock! I love the texture of suede and the neutral color pairs with anything. Nothing says fall fashion quite like suede.

Puff sleeve top

Now this is my ideal business top. The beautiful collar is flanked by two feminine princess puffed sleeve shoulders. The sleeves are short too, which is smart for accentuating the forearm and wrist while hiding the upper arms!

Leather fringe jacket

How beautiful is this jacket? The material is a thinner faux leather which is ideal for layering as it doesn’t present a stiff or heavy barrier. This is such a cool piece especially for a concert or outdoor night life.

Plaid collared button down

This beautiful plaid neutral can be worn under a jacket, or unbuttoned over a tank top, or even by itself with denim or slacks. A great versatile piece for layering this fall.

There are some specific qualities in a piece of clothing that purely elevate it. Embroidery is one of those that if done well, presents an immaculate feature on your garments or accessories. This season, I have collected some beautiful findings of embroidered items that being true artistry to your outfits.

Black dress, Ralph Lauren Bag

This dress took my breath away, and I could hardly believe the price was so affordable for something that checks so many boxes for this years “it” trends. First off, it is a beautifully casual and flowy silhouette (such versatility there) in a perfect fall black. And to top it off, the embroidery reminds me of a cowboy boot which hits the nail on the head for the western flare raging in fall and winter fashion this year. It is safe to say this dress is a current favorite I will refuse to part with for years to come.

Green embroidered top

I adore this shade of green for fall, and how the fabric falls loosely is very flattering on the body. The bright colors envoke the joy and saturated hues of fall. The craftsmanship here is truly stunning!

Embroidered mini dress

Another stunning ode to western style and embroidery. Cultures from Mexico and Native American tribes have long mastered the craft, which makes this style much more admirable and special to me. This dress is the perfect option for a concert or any outdoor fall event. Made to wear with boots.

Johnny Was Sweatshirt

I couldn’t do an embroidery round up with out mentioning this classic boho designer, Johnny Was. I have loved this brand for years, and I love this beautiful work done on such a laid back item like a sweatshirt. Especially as a mom I appreciate an elevated cozy option! Comfortable and incredibly made is right up my alley.

Whether I’m working out, running errands, or spending time outside doing fun activities, it’s always important for me to have a great selection of activewear basics on hand for these occasions! I love to dress up, but some things in life require comfy clothes you could hike a mountain in. Here are some of my recent favorites:

Hat, jacket, Fanny pack sold out similar here, less expensive here, white tee, sports bra, shorts, tennis shoes

We have been spending the long weekend in Colorado which has been an ideal vacation. The temperatures are perfectly mild with a chill only on top of the mountain or at night. This makes it the perfect scenario to play outside all day and get dressed up for dinner. During the day, layers are key, so I brought this quilted puffer jacket along with me to wear as needed.

Pink Hat

Definitely couldn’t resist this Barbie pink hat! I wear mostly neutral athletic clothes, so I know I can top any outfit off with this girly pop of color for sunny fall days.

Tank top, less expensive here

I recently picked up this cropped tank top to wear as a sports bra under a shirt or by itself. I love how this modest layer can be so versatile depending on your activity. I also liked the Amazon version which is less expensive, and both come in several colors!

Tee

This is one of my favorite styles of athletic tees that lululemon makes! The boat neck is nice flattering, and the design on the back is darling as well. It’s unique design takes style out of the gym and around town if you are going to be running from place to place.

I was hoping this trend would resurface along with the other late 2000s fashion elements we are seeing lately! Ballerina flats have been making a comeback, and I have been collecting severs over the past year. Here are some of my recent favorites available now:

Pink velvet

I adore these high-cut velvet flats in a beautiful dusty pink which is a perfect feminine fall shade. This particular pair comes in 6 colors and are under $100.

Woven ballet flats

Another amazing texture for fall fashion. The woven leather adds a unique and elegant eye catcher for these flats. The black version is gorgeous too. I would pair these with dresses or pants this season!

Chain toed ballet flats

Chanel inspired minus the extra zero in the price! These flats have all the staple features and are under $100. We have all seen this color combo paired with virtually every outfit under the sun. A tried and true classic in the wardrobe- if this is your first try at flats, these are a great first pair!

Shades of fall are surfacing everywhere lately with new patterns including browns, greens, burgundy and other shades for the new season. Here are some of the latest floral styles that have caught my eye and are beautiful options to take you through to winter in cozy tones.

Dress, rainboots

This green floral dress is so ideal for me as my birthday is in August and it’s the perfect shade of peridot green (my birthstone). I don’t have a lot of green dresses, and I’m excited to have added this one as green is a great color to work into all seasons. It’s an earth tone/neutral that will work under sweaters or with sandals!

Floral Dress

I actually own a bright pink, color-block version of this dress (seen here) so, I KNOW it’s good! It is long and flowy making it an elegant choice for a shower or semi-formal event, and a beautiful dinner date option. The dainty print is lavender and green, such soft shades paired wonderfully with a cream cardigan.

Floral mini dress

This dress is on sale, and made by Something Navy which is definitely a new name to know in fashion right now! I imagine this dress with a chunky platform heel at a fun party or night out, and with a ballet flat or sandal during the day.

I love the statement of stripes for outdoor activities amidst changing seasons. Temperatures are giving us a small break with rain in the forecast, and this cozy pullover is a great option for curling up at home or coasting through cooler evenings by the water.

I adore this $50 classic tee. The warm cream is a perfect fall background shade and will pair perfectly with a chic black short or pants.

I reach for this dress daily and have worn it during all seasons whether with a slide, sneaker, or even under a long cardigan. It makes a great neutral in my wardrobe.
